Embossed edge RPPC from the estate of Major-leaguer Varney Anderson. AZO with ^ in corners dates it 1904-1918. All of the players except one have "Orioles" running vertically up their uniforms. Rockford, Illinois had an Orioles team in the early 1920's, perhaps a bit earlier, nearby Freeport, Illinois also had an "Orioles" team from as early as 1906 and might also be a candidate. From the origin of the piece(Rockford,IL) and it's tie to Varney Anderson one would assume this to be one of these two teams. A bit of research might shed more light to the exact location and date. A nice image with just one small stained area, otherwise problem free.
