Here we have a very unusual size circa 1880s cabinet photo. It's dimensions, for the photo itself, are approximately 11" x 9". The mount adds another inch or so to the overall size. Our consignor believes this might be the Seton Hall baseball team and we have no reason not to believe that. Out of the 9 men in the picture 6 of them are shown with bats. We don't believe we have ever seen this many bats in an Imperial Cabinet card. This photo is a bit light with a small piece missing on the bottom left as can be seen. Their uniforms, belts ties and hats show up nicely in this large size photo. On the back there is a nice photographer stamp which states -
