a 6" x 8" circa 1900-10 cabinet card ID'd on the back as Chester Noel, taken in Peru, Illinois at Churchills Studio. Chester has his full uniform on, double breasted wool coat, with cap and brand new shoes it appears, as well as holding a ball in one hand and the other with a full webbed glove. We believe this to be Chester Arthur Noel b. July of 1887 and lived in Peru, Illinois in 1900 moving to nearby Bureau county, Illinois by 1910. Some chipping to the mount, with a few penciled notations on the back. The image itself is flawless. A wonderful example of a local ballplayer of the early 1900's, and ID'd which is a very nice plus for photos of this era, so many of which the person's name has been lost to the memory of the family.
Early 20th Century Cabinet of Chester Noel in Full Uniform
