1905-1908 Large size cabinet photos of the Pittsburgh Pirates taken while in Spring Training at Hot Springs, Arkansas. The mount bears the imprint for Arlington Studio, Happy Hollow and Black Diamond the Celebrated Trotting Ostrich. Many, many Pirates stars in the image, overseen by Manager Fred Clarke. Overall size is approximately 12" x 10" being slightly cut down, the back is black. The image itself is 9 1/2" x 7" and umblemished. This piece originated from the family of Pirates player Homer Hillebrand and was previous sold by Heritage.
