Unusual, 1870's we believe, 8 1/2" x 5 1/4" gold gilded cabinet card with a slightly smaller albumen photo attached. Perhaps the exact year might be 1876(Centennial Celebration?) as it appears there is a parade formation going on, with a mounted man in military uniform as well as two drummers in what appear to be Revolutionary war uniforms, also two clowns at the front. Behind this is a Baseball team or two, at least eighteen players standing side by side, nearly every one have a bat over his shoulder, again as if holding their weapon. Fifteen bats observed to be precise! If not the 1876 Centennial, one would suspect a Fourth of July celebration from a year in the 1870's. Quite and unusual image! In very nice condition, no creases or blemishes to the image.
