1952 Globe Printing Rarity Gene Lillard, Bakersfield Indians. A card so scarce that is was not confirmed until 2009 by a collector thru Bob Lemke's blog after another collector had an empty album, indicating the issuing of the set in 1952. We now present the second known example and only one graded by SGC or PSA. Recently gradd by SGC as a 1.5, while the holdering of such a rarity was eventful, the grade assigned lies far below the actual condition of the card. There are no creases, wrinkles, pin-holes or any other malady, just a bit of wear to the corners, primarily the bottom left.
Regardless of the label at the top of this card, collectors of scarce PCL material will now have the opportunity to acquire this rarity.
