Gray Studios was one of the photographers that took the pictures used by Goodwin & Co. for the Old Judge N172 and N173 series, mostly of Philadelphia, Boston and Washington players. There over 60 different Gray Studio player images known to date. This image of John "Moose" Farrell in his Washington uniform is the same as pose 154-2 in the N172 Old Judge series, it is uncatalogued and previously unknown as a Gray Studio cabinet. Excellent condition, only one small corner crease that shows mostly on the back, otherwise very clean, with a solid image.
