1884 Stock certificate for One Share of the Boston Base Ball Association. Stock certificate #124 issued to J. B. Billings who would later become club treasurer, according to the company record piece also included, this was share #104 which had belonged to A. B. Babcock and was reissued to Billings June 44, 1884. Signed by Allan J. Chase current club treasurer and President of the Association A. H. Soden and also signed by Billings on the back. In much nicer condition than normally found, farily fresh paper, free of creasing or tears, the club record was at one time pinned to the certificate and each has matching pinholes as commonly found on these.
